WHAT IS THE CLARKSVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS FOUNDATION?
The Clarksville Community Schools Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization that receives, manages and distributes contributions, bequests and endowment funds from private and corporate sources. It provides educational support and opportunities for present and future generations.
WHAT IS THE FOUNDATION’S MISSION?
The Clarksville Community Schools Foundation promotes and enhances the quality educational opportunities and experiences for our community. Together, our community accepts the responsibility to continue to raise our standard of excellence.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Please direct gifts via donations, bequests or living trusts to the Clarksville Community Schools Foundation.
Donations may be assigned in the following manner:
- Unrestricted: Grants provided at the discretion of the foundation’s board and distribution committee.
- Restricted: Designated for specific areas of educational needs.
- Agency Endowment: Designated for operational expenses of the foundation.
HOW ARE PEOPLE CHOSEN FOR THE BOARD?
Members of the foundation board are elected annually. Board members must be individuals who have exhibited an interest in providing educational support for the Clarksville community and meet the requirements as stated in the foundation’s by-laws. |
