Welcome to Clarksville High School, home of the Generals!
Clarksville High School has been rated an "A" School by the Indiana Department of Education's A-F accountability model.
The school has received this commendation for two consecutive years.
Clarksville High School is one of eleven high schools in Indiana participating in the TAP evaluation model. In only the second year of implementation, CHS has been recognized by TAP's parent organization, NIET, as a TAP Ambassador School. As an ambassador school, CHS is honored to host inquiring schools regarding the TAP process.
The school that opened in 1955 now serves 415 students and has a graduation rate of 96.3 percent.
Our students are challenged in and out of the classrooms with our rigorous course offerings, including dual college and high school credit classes, and extensive sports and extra-curricular activities. Whether writing for the school newspaper, playing in the band, practicing a foreign language or playing a sport, there’s something for everyone at Clarksville High School.
