Preschool Open House
 
Preschool Open House for the 2014-2015 school year is right around the corner! Come see what Clarksville has to offer your preschooler! Meet the teachers, learn about the program, and ask questions.  Preschool Open House is Thursday, April 24 from 6 p.m.-7p.m.
 
Applications will be available at Clarksville Elementary School the night of the event through May 23, 2014.  Students must be four years old by August 1, 2014 or meet other requirements as stipulated by Indiana State Law.
 
Clarksville Students as well as students from neighboring counties are welcome to apply.
The deadline to apply for the preschool program is Friday, May 23, 2014.
 
Families will be notified of acceptance the week of June 9.

Camp Kindergarten
 
Camp Kindergarten Night at Clarksville Elementary School will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Parents and their future Clarksville Explorer are invited to attend this Camp. Parents and future students will have the opportunity to meet teachers, see classrooms and experience the educational activities that take place in Kindergarten at CES.
 
Parents and students living outside the Clarksville Community School District are accepted and encouraged to attend!

Welcome to Clarksville High School, home of the Generals!

Clarksville High School has been rated an "A" School by the Indiana Department of Education's A-F accountability model.

The school has received this commendation for two consecutive years.

Clarksville High School is one of eleven high schools in Indiana participating in the TAP evaluation model. In only the second year of implementation, CHS has been recognized by TAP's parent organization, NIET, as a TAP Ambassador School. As an ambassador school, CHS is honored to host inquiring schools regarding the TAP process. 
 
The school that opened in 1955 now serves 415 students and has a graduation rate of 96.3 percent.
 
Our students are challenged in and out of the classrooms with our rigorous course offerings, including dual college and high school credit classes, and extensive sports and extra-curricular activities. Whether writing for the school newspaper, playing in the band, practicing a foreign language or playing a sport, there’s something for everyone at Clarksville High School.

  Mrs. Julie and Mrs. Brandi’s preschool classes have been learning about Life Cycles! They learned about the life cycles of humans, butterflies, frogs and lastly the Life Cycle of a Chicken!

The students got the opportunity to meet the chickens that hatched from their eggs in an incubator that took 21 days to hatch!
