Grading and Reporting
The school year is divided into four 9-week quarter grading periods Students will receive their report cards during the week following the end of each grading period.
All Clarksville schools use the following grading scale: A+ 100, A 94-99, A- 90-93; B+ 87-89, B 84-86, B- 80-83; C+ 77-79-84, C 74-76, C- 70-73; D+ 67-69, D 64-66, D- 60-63; F 0-59.
Grades will be regularly updated through our online Parent Portal. A mid-term grade will be posted on the Parent Portal half way through each grading period. Parents are more than welcome to visit the Parent Portal to access their student's grades. Parents are encouraged to call or e-mail their child's teachers with any questions or concerns involving grades, behavior or attendance.
Honor Roll
An Honor Roll listing of those students who have done outstanding work will be compiled at the close of each grading period. All students are urged to do work that is equal to their ability and to strive to make the Honor Roll in 1 of 3 classifications: Principal's Award requires a no grade lower than an A-. Honor Roll requires a 3.0 GPA with no grade lower than a B-. To compute honor roll & grade point average, the following table will be used: A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, D- = 0.7 and F = O points. Total the grade points & divide by the number of courses taken.
